One thing that is very important to Cassie Thompson, owner of Serene Spaces, LLC,  is giving back to the community.  We love to partner with and support local businesses and entrepreneurs.  This looks different depending on the needs in the community. 
Some examples of how we give back are: ​
  1. ​Donate client and personal items to local non-profit organizations  accepting specific or general  donations to grow their organizations  and fund their mission.
  2. Donate hands on professional organizing services to local non-profit organizations that need assistance organizing small projects. 
  3. Teach courses, workshops, and speak to local non-profit organizations about organizing (topics vary depending on requests, needs, and audience).
  4. Collaborate, refer, and shop local small businesses.​
  5. Donate gift certificates for services to local charities, galas, and silent auctions.

    Recommendation for "giving back" Services
Cassie also adapts many green/eco practices in her business as well as her personal life.  In addition to reducing and reusing she is always looking for recycling options for things that are not in the condition to be donated.  She has started various recycling efforts in her local community such as Crayola Colorcycle.  The Crayola Colorcycle program takes all dried out markers and sends them to a conversion facility where they are repurposed and kept out of landfills. ​
